REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

RETURNS

You may, without reason, return any item (non-touristic) purchased on the website within 14 days of delivery. We shall offer a full refund of the original price, with the difference of the delivery costs. The products must be returned in their original packaging. If you wish to return any products, kindly do so by contacting us here and we shall initiate the refund process back to your payment method.

CANCELLATIONS

You maintain your statutory rights to withdraw or cancel an order placed on the website, as such provisions are given under ‘Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament on Consumer Rights’. Kindly note that your rights to cancellation does not extend to products listed as non-returnable products.

When an order is en-route to you, kindly wait until it arrives at your destination before initiating the return process. To exercise your right to cancel, send us a message, explicitly telling us that you wish to cancel your order, stating your contact details, reference number and details of the products you want to cancel. 

SHIPPING AND DUTIES

If an item is returned, you must cover the cost of return. For items shipped outside of the European Union, you will be responsible for claiming back the excise duties or taxes you paid to the customs authorities of the delivery destination. ​

IKENGA RETURN POLICY

In addition to your statutory rights, the following supplementary rights of return are offered at IKENGA Shop section;

Unwanted items may be returned for an exchange or refunds, if unused and in their original packaging. Refunds will be made in the original method of payment.

While in your possession, if the products are in any way damaged or diminished in value, we may deduct the amount of such loss from the amount reimbursed to you. If the return of the product is made by post, kindly include your personal details, including the best way we can contact you, otherwise it will be impossible for us to initiate a refund.

Exchanges and returns of items made under a promotion of discount shall be accounted at the reduced price. Where a purchase was accompanied by a complimentary gift item, the gift item must also be returned.

Returning some products are still subject to exclusion, Those items that cannot be refunded will be listed below.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

The following items are non-returnable;

  • Perishable goods(including food and beverages).
  • Personalized and modified products made to your specification.
  • Certain accessories (pierced earrings & hosiery).
  • Skincare products, cosmetics and fragrances.
  • Bedding (mattresses, duvets, pillows and sofas).
  • Undergarments (swimwear, nightwear)
  • Scarves, millinery and hair accessories
  • Limited edition
  • Any other item identified as non-refundable
